VerdictThis Remote is a must for macro photographers, and users of long lenses. It's excellent for people doing long Exposures. For Dslr users this remote should be all you need, as the Nikon D2 series have most of the features of the more expensive MC-36. I find this remote a must have with my D200, even on a tripod. I find that the shutter lag and the mirror slap is to slow on my D200, resulting in blurred shots with long lenses on a tripod at slow shutter speeds. AlternativesNikon MC-36 Multi-Function Remote.
